If you'd like to see photos of our snowboarding trip this past weekend, visit my Asessippi 2007 album. To save time, here's a link to a video of Blair Hillmer getting his 8th concussion.

Your fall was more like 9 or 10 feet... because you landed on your head. You are approx 6ft tall + 4ft high table top = 10FT FALL. That's why the fall resulted in another concussion. I will begin my online search for a helmet big enough to hold multiple pillows for a soft landing.

The last few days have been filled with headaches, dizziness, and research about concussions. They are serious business and as you can see they are pretty easy to get once you have had one.....or seven. That fall was a total of about only 4 feet, and I was wearing a helmet! I took every precaution and still got it in the end.
The long terms effects are generally thought to be increased possibility of Alzheimer’s, Chronic Depression, and a wealth of other brain-related deteriorations. Not to mention brain aneurysms, which don’t generally turn out well. Pretty scary stuff! Especially when the things you read describe you to a tee.
I would say at the ripe old age of 27, I am hereby retiring from sports. It almost brings a tear to my eye to say it, but the damage is done. I will be a very lucky man if i am able to grow old and retain my memory.
So enjoy the show, you wont see anything like it ever again.
