Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, my parents' hometown and where I've spent most of my holidays in my short time on this earth, is a finalist in the CBC Hockeyville competition. If you have a look at the town's video, you can see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins busily working away trying to build and fundraise for the new town rink that was recently opened.

Make sure you vote for Maple Creek on June 6th and then (after we get into the next round thanks to your help) on June 9th. The winner will be announced on June 11th!

Update: We lost. Thanks for nothing, jerks.

To be honest, i didnt vote at all. Even though i told you i would for sure. Ya, i figured that it wouldn't really matter anyway.

On an unrealated note, empathy kicks ass........ or maybe its lame....ahh who cares.

I could have pulled a "Brad" and just voted for everyone twice. Seems fair, right Brad? Its not like you completely nulified your votes and wasted your time. Right?

.......like it matters anyway.
I thought the Chekov hair would have been enough to clench Hockeyville. Murphy's law must have won out eh? On both fronts.
