My flight to Chicago on Tuesday was great - nobody beside me on both segments, which really makes me feel for the suckers in first class who spent cash for no reason! This week has been pretty much solid work. On this project I am pretty much going to be working twelve hour days. The usual day starts between 9 and 10am and I leave here between 9 and 10pm and sometimes (a lot) later. I spent both days this weekend working as well :( We're doing mostly bug-fixing right now which sucks but I've learned that any experience is good experience. The folks I'm working with are pretty cool, so that definitely helps.

We've tried to get away from work when we can. This week I had lunch at local Jimmy John's and Chipotle restaurants, both of which I highly recommend and would be great franchise opportunities back in Saskatchewan. On Wednesday night the team lead took us out for a few beers at The Ram, which had some very nice scenery ;) On Friday night, me and Jeff from work checked out Team America: World Police, which will no doubt go down as the funniest movie of 2004!

Chicago is definitely the windy city ... and it's cold ... remind you of anywhere? ;)
