Man, it feels great to be home! I arrived back in Regina on Friday morning without incident. Even though I had to get up at 1am Saskatchewan time to make it to the airport on time, it was a pretty decent set of flights. I had time to hit the duty-free shop and there was nobody next to me from Minneapolis to Regina so I would call that a good trip. I didn't go into work, though - I spent the rest of the day doing laundry, unpacking, and messing around on the computer. I went to the folks' house for supper for a few hours which was a nice treat, especially with meatloaf being served (one of my favourites!). Marco was home so we shared a toast before I hit the sack early around 10pm - I was pretty much exhausted!
Saturday was a good day. I spent the afternoon fooling around on the computer, and then at 5pm Brad, my dad, and Blair came over and we watched the Rider game. It was a great game because we overcame tremendous odds for the win - too bad we didn't see it in person! We had deer sausage, too, which was pretty good even though it had too much pepper in it for my tastes (we can thank my uncle for that). After the game was over, my dad went home and the rest of us went back to Brad's house where we were joined by Jerrod, Tyler, Ryan, and Mike for a game of poker. I had a lot of fun and actually ended up not losing any money, but after 3 hours or so I was pretty much bored. Mike graciously volunteered to drop me off on his way home, so I quickly accepted. When I got home I watched The Girl Next Door, an awesome movie. It was amazing to see how the movie simultaneously represented everything I couldn't do in high school but fantasized about, everything I didn't do but wanted to, and everything that I did do but didn't want to! I don't even know what I am talking about anymore, but I was in a good mood when I watched the flick and heartily endorse it for that reason!
Sunday was a pretty relaxing day. Me and Marco picked up some Viet Thai for supper and I watched the 2004 No Mercy PPV. I had invited everybody over to my place to watch it and nobody showed up, which was a great decision, so kudos to everybody! It was a complete waste of time and I regret every minute of watching it! I am a fucking idiot for watching wrestling, because it is so stupid!
Today was a pretty slack day at work. Me and Dale went out for lunch to Brewsters, which was good food and great conversation. No plans for this evening, though, except for dealing with my allergies which have been acting up for some reason. I thought I skipped allergy season here!
