Earlier in the night I heard some lady at the front desk complaining about a bad smell in her room, and a while ago I could even notice it in the hallway, some kind of gas smell. I was sitting here listening to the Rider game on CKRM and catching up on some work (yeah right - catching up - as you can probably tell from my one-word postings as of late, counting today I've been on-site at work for the last 20 days straight) when the fire alarm rang. I passed some firefighters on the way downstairs and met a huge crowd gathered outside.

After about a half-hour in the warm and humid Pennsylvania night, they gave us the "all clear" to head back inside. Turns out one of the air-conditioning units on the roof broke a belt so it was spewing exhaust back into the hotel. Oh well, problem solved ... I already spend my days at work fighting fires, so the last thing I need is to do the same at "home" ;)

Hear ya!
